Are there hardware and software requirements?

To upload a model from BIM software, you should already be using a CAD/BIM workstation or laptop. This kind of hardware specification is sufficient. Though a high-performance machine will definitely help speed up the model export and upload process. Apart from this, you’ll also need to get bimU.io Launcher installed.

To view a model on bimU.io, a WebGL-enabled internet browser is required. We strongly recommend the latest version of Google Chrome though most modern browsers should work as well, such as Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, etc. Please look at the article below if model navigation is laggy on your machine.
