Does bimU.io have a copy of my project file or BIM component file?
No. We never store native BIM files, such as RVT, RFA, etc. bimU.io converts your BIM model locally to an interchange format through bimU.io Launcher installed on your machine. The interchange format is non-editable and for the sole purpose of bimU.io Viewer. It only contains compressed data of selected model view and elements. That means no project file or BIM component file will be uploaded. bimU.io never reads your digital assets in full.
